USA Today reports that YouTube is planning to launch a new application called YouTube kids on February 23.
It was reported as early as March of last year, but Google confirmed that it was working on such an app in December. The app, which will be free, will run on Android Appliances only at the start of its operation.
According to USA Today, the app will be separate from the main YouTube service and will feature an initial screen with eight choices of children's TV shows and other popular recommendations.
