You know that YouTube channels are crowded with members and content creators, so the following news was probably expected, especially considering that Google does not hesitate to open and close services.
So from today some channels have a new one tab called “Community.” As you can tell from the name of the new tab, it is an additional space where the users of YouTube can post messages to their audience without having to post a video.
This could stop "Announcement" videos, leaving YouTube users to say something quickly without uploading videos. It could also encourage Youtube users to interact with their audience on Youtube itself instead of doing it on other platforms like Twitter or Facebook.
Subscribers can even choose to receive notifications whenever a creator adds a post to the community.
Of course the new feature it has the flavor of a social network, and perhaps that is the ultimate goal of Google, which has not been satisfied with the performance of Google+.
You can see the new feature already on big channels
