During the duration of their trip to Italy, its managing director Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, met Pope Francis.
Following last week's devastating earthquake in Italy, Zuckerberg cited the importance of connecting people and the need for immediacy access on the Internet.
He spoke of his admiration for the Pope's progressive opinions on technology, especially as they relate to communication with people from every religion and all over the world.
Zuckerberg then offered the Pope a replica of her solar-powered drone companys, Aquila, which is designed to facilitate communication in areas without internet.
As you understand from the style the Pope is looking at, we probably will not see the drone, soon embellished in his office.
