There are two categories, the professional and the amateur, and the pictures they cover the whole spectrum of wild nature, and human life: from the wild landscapes of Kenya, to the Inuit whalers. The photos are fascinating and moving. Sometimes their topics are not pretty, and they touch on serious issues.
