The Windows 10 is known that they collect data by users them via telemetry and have a long history of concern for privacy worldwide.
Recently, a Dutch service data protection warned again about the data collection process that takes place after the installation of the operating system.
The Dutch agency has approached its privacy regulator Microsoft in Europe to require a thorough investigation of a number of concerns, after a post earlier this year revealed that the company has done nothing to fix important privacy issues.
The investigation will be conducted by the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) as he says at TechCrunch, the privacy officer who confirmed that a detailed analysis of the privacy checks in Windows 10 will be performed.
"DPC is working with the Dutch DPA (data protection agency) on this issue," said a DPC spokesman.
DPC had a preliminary commitment with Microsoft and with the help of the Dutch authority, we will be working with Microsoft soon to seek substantive answers to the concerns that arise.
Microsoft explains in a statement that it is already working with the Dutch organization to improve privacy in Windows 10 and that this new research is another opportunity to further improve the operating system.
The Dutch Data Protection Authority has expressed its concerns about data protection in consumer versions of Windows 10, Windows 10 Home and Pro. We will work with the Irish Data Protection Commission to answer any further questions or concerns as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Dutch agency warns that Microsoft except by diagnostic data collects non-diagnostics in Windows 10, explaining that the Irish Data Protection Commission's research should help determine if the company is processing more information than it really needs.
