The annual survey for 2014 BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands (read the entire survey PDF, for download, right click and save as) shows that the total value of the most important brands in the world has risen by 12%, which translates to 2.900 billion dollars or 2.120 billions of euros.
Apple has held the first place for three consecutive years, but it seems that this year was not its year as the value of its trademark declined by 20% from the previous year.
IBM is third, exactly the same as last year, and its brand value reaches 78.440.000.000 euros. Microsoft is ranked fourth, with 65.800.000.000 Euro, almost 30% above last year's results.
