YouTube throws it in the game

With gaming having grown into a billion dollar industry, Google seems to want to get in there as well. Thus, strong rumor has already started regarding the acquisition by the YouTube of Twitch, the largest live-streaming network video game, for $ 1 twice.

According to Variety magazine, the acquisition will be made in cash and will be announced within days. On the other hand, Wall Street επιβεβαιώνει τη συμφωνία, αν και προσθέτει πως οι συνομιλίες βρίσκονται ακόμα σε αρχικό στάδιο, με πολλά στοιχεία να μην έχουν ακόμα αποκαλυφθεί. Η έγκυρη εφημερίδα αναφέρει ως πηγές της persons he does not name.

Twitch (originally a subsidiary of Justin.tv) appeared in 2011, aiming to create its own gaming . Since then, it has managed to gather massive traffic, gaining an average of 45 million unique monthly viewers, and 1 million gamers streaming their own content.

Twitch has been fully integrated with Xbox One and Playstation 4, allowing users to "twist" and watch TV content.

YouTube has attempted to compete in the "arena" of game live-streaming, but it has by no means had the success of Twitch.
