Because security shouldn't just exist online, Apple should probably rethink practices security of Apple Stores, as iPhone thieves seem to have become disenchanted. Totally though..
The San Francisco Police Department released footage from two recent robberies at an Apple store (Apple Store) in the Bay Area. The robberies took place on November 25 and November 29 in the Chestnut Street area of San Francisco.
The first video shows three attackers breaking into the Apple Store and with fast movements (in less than 15 seconds) empty the front shelves. Similarly, the second clip shows four perpetrators grabbing what they can in identical rhythms.
In both cases, staff and customers were scared and simply watched the perpetrators pick up devices from the shelves.
The police hope that with the release of the video will lead to the capture of the perpetrators, who until now remain unintelligible.
Let's say this kind of robbery is a common phenomenon in New York. In July, the New York Police Department announced that robbers dressed as Apple employees were removing iPhones from its stores. In October, thieves removed smartphones worth 13.000 dollars from another Apple store in Massachusetts.
