A new Pentagon office created to track reports of unidentified flying objects has received "several hundred" new reports. But so far there is no evidence of extraterrestrial life, the agency's leadership told reporters on Friday. The Associated Press he says:
The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was created in July and is responsible not only for tracking unidentified objects in the sky, but also underwater and even in space. The office was established after more than a year of paying attention to unidentified flying objects that military pilots have seen but were sometimes reluctant to report for fear of stigmatization.
Since then, "we've had a lot more reports," said Anomaly Resolution Office director Sean Kirkpatrick.
When asked to quantify "the reports," Kirkpatrick said "several hundreds."
An updated report from the Director of National Intelligence that will provide specifics on the new reports received since 2021 is expected to be released by the end of the year, officials said.
