Το Γερμανικό ινστιτούτο ασφάλειας AV-TEST, πραγματοποίησε μια σειρά δοκιμών στα τέλη Νοεμβρίου αναζητώντας την καλύτερη λύση antivirus για το νέο λειτουργικό system Windows 10. The applications: Avira Antivirus Pro, Bitdefender Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security και Norton Security βρέθηκαν στην κορυφή των charts.
The researchers report that Windows Defender was used as a benchmark in their tests. So they compared their characteristics productof based on Windows Defender functions. This is one of the reasons why Windows Defender is among the last on the list.
Malware detection
For malware detection, the antivirus solutions that stood out are Avira, F-Secure, AVG, AhnLab and Kaspersky Lab which detected every dangerous archive without any errors at all, while Panda Security achieved the best detection rate among free products.

If you are afraid that antivirus could slow down your computer, then you should use products that are developed by: Avira, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, and Symantec because they have the highest detection rate without much impact on system performance.
Usability
The majority of products tested were rated as maximum (6 by 6 points) in usability tests.
