So Bitdefender Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security, as well as Trend Micro Internet Security managed to get the maximum number of points in protection, performance and usability tests.
All three security products were rated by AV-TEST with 6 out of 6 points for each essay, claiming the title of best security product for Windows 7.
The applications of Avira, AVG and Avast although they did quite well, they couldn't catch the top three.
Avast, for example, took 5,5 degrees for protection, 4 points for performance, and 5,5 for usability, while AVG had 5.5 points in all tests. Avira had the same results as AVG in protection and performance, but it caught 6 points in usability.
Microsoft Security Essentials, managed to get 3,5, 5,0, and 5,5 points in the protection, performance, and usability tests, respectively.
