BackBox Linux is a distribution based on the known Ubuntu operating system and used for security assessments and penetration testing.
The developers of the project have just released a new stable version, BackBox Linux 6. The new version upgrades key components of the distribution and fixes many errorthose from the previous version.

What's new: updated Linux kernel 4.18, updated desktop environment, updated hacking tools, up-to-date hybrid ISO images with UEFI support
System requirements: 32 or 64 bit processor, 1.024MB system memory (RAM memory) 10GB disk space for installation, graphics card with 800x600 resolution, unit DVD-ROM or USB port (3GB).
