We have reported in a previous post that BlackBerry is planning to release a slider smartphone που θα τροφοδοτείται από το λειτουργικό σύστημα Android. Με την κωδική ονομασία BlackBerry Venice, η συσκευή αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει από την AT&T στις USA, and later by other companies.
Today the well-known leaker accountof Twitter, @evleaks posted an image of the upcoming BlackBerry Venice. The device looks very sleek in the image, and we hope that when the device is released it will be as it looks.
The leaked image shows the underside of the BlackBerry Venice, featuring microUSB and 3.5mm audio jacks.
The keyboard QWERTY that BlackBerry Venice is expected to bring is not shown in the image because the slider is closed.
The photo also shows some of the apps that will come pre-installed on the BlackBerry Venice. In addition to the usual applications and services of Google such as Maps, Drive, Chrome, Hangouts and Photos, we can also see two Microsoft applications: Skype and Bing.
The BlackBerry Venice has a 5.4-inch Quad HD touch screen (2560 × 1440 pixels), as well as an 18-megapixel camera on the back. On the front, the smartphone will carry a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
Venice is expected to showcase this autumn and we will probably see it in the market since November, but the information has not yet been confirmed by BlackBerry.
