The application bluesky Jack's Dorsey released for Android devices. This is an alternative to it Twitter, which was originally released on the App Store in February. The service is currently accessible by invitation only, according to The Verge.
With the functions which are similar to Twitter, the app allows to users search and follow others, create image posts and more. However, it's still in beta, meaning it has a limited user base, reportedly around 25.000 people, and has yet to include features like instant reply.change messages.

The inception of the Bluesky service dates back to 2019, when it was launched as a decentralized standard for social media platforms, supported by Twitter. The app was officially spun off from Twitter in 2021 and has since joined the list of emerging Twitter alternatives, such as Mastodon, which came to prominence after Elon Musk's acquisition.
Bluesky's primary goal is to empower users to define how they want to experience and interact with social media. Jay Graber, the CEO, explained last month that the app will offer a set of open algorithms, giving developers the freedom to experiment and publish algorithms accessible to everyone.
