Brave reached 50 million monthly active users this year browser doubling its users for another year.
Say what you want about the Brave browser, but it's one of the few prosletterbrowsing today's internet which sees a doubling of its users, year after year. This time last year Brave doubled its monthly active users to more than 20 million. This year, Brave reports that monthly active user accounts have exceeded 50 million.
To be precise, Brave reached 50,2 million monthly active users and 15,5 million daily active users in December 2021, according to relevant post on the official website.
Brave, a fairly recent browser, has been reporting usage numbers since 2017. At the time, it had only 1,2 million monthly active users. In 2018 the number quadrupled to 5,9 million monthly active users, and in 2019 it almost doubled to 11,2 million.
Its frantic course did not stop there because in 2020 it doubled its active users again, making them 24,1 million. And for 2021, what a prototype, it reached the reported 50,2 million monthly active users, doubling them for another year.

The company also integrated Brave Talk into the browser in the third quarter of 2021. Brave Talk is a teleconferencing solution that provides users with unlimited video calling without sacrificing privacy, according to Brave. The technology is provided by Jitsi and Brave released it as a free and premium version.
We, however, who use Brave, as well as other browsers in order to compare their behavior, found that Brave can and does cut the good morning ads, as well as the notifications for cookies with few clicks.
Mozilla, which has difficulty retaining users, has more than four times as many monthly active users. If Brave continues to grow, it could overtake Mozilla in 2023, provided monthly active Firefox web browser users remain stable.
