Mr Brendan Eich, co-founder of Mozilla, developed and just released his first edition browser Brave. The new browser focuses on removing what it considers to be more invasive advertisements.
According to the manufacturer, the new app will not only focus on your privacy but will also speed your browsing too.
Brave will not serve ads that use your browsing history to target advertisers. This doesn't mean you won't see any ads at all since it will only show some harmless ones (vs crisis developer's) to help both visitors and publishers, in theory at least.
"The Brave browser blocks everything: the initials and the analytics scripts που ξεκινούν την προγραμματική διαφήμιση, τα pixel παρακολούθησης pixels, και τα ad-click confirmation," Eich says.
Although it is still too early, you can try the new browser by downloading the installation files from Github. Do not expect surprises, you can just try it before the official beta release.
Brave currently does not have necessary browser features such as: prepricesettings, manage bookmarks, history or the downloads folder. Obviously we'll see more in the coming weeks.
If you still insist, from GitHub you can download the version for computers, iOS ή Android.
If you still want to wait for a more stable version, you can sign up for Brave and you will be notified when the beta version is ready.
