CatBlock is Edge's first ad blocking extension

ονομάζεται η πρώτη επέκταση αποκλεισμού διαφημίσεων του web browser της Microsoft Edge, Η επέκταση μόλις κυκλοφόρησε σαν έκδοση alpha.Microsoft Edge

The experimental version of Microsoft Edge is currently being tested by the of Windows 10.
So this extension can only be installed on the latest version released through the Windows program .

If you "wear" the latest Microsoft preview feature, follow these steps to try the CatBlock extension.

CatBlockDownload the Edge extension from the project page in GitHub
Unzip the file to your system
Run the setup.cmd found in the / folder.
You may get some notification from SmartScreen (warning filter). Click on more and then select run the exe anyway.

Your screen will flash for a while and will open the instructions.txt document inside the extension's main folder.

Immediately open Microsoft Edge
Select the three dots (…) in the upper right corner of the Edge, and then select extensions from the menu that opens.
Click the load button and
select the catblok folder (not the CatBlock Extension for Edge folder you found in setup.cmd, but the folder in it).
You will see that Edge added the extension.

The extension works properly after installation. You will understand it as in the place where the ads were, the extension uploads images with cats… .. automatically. Let's hope that until the final version, the cats will leave, no matter how cute they are….
