Chrome 68: New Not Secure Version for All HTTP Pages

Η Google κυκλοφόρησε τον νέο περιηγητή Chrome 68 για όλες τις υποστηριζόμενες πλατφόρμες, , Linux και macOS.  Η νέα έκδοση είναι μια σημαντική ενημέρωση, καθώς αλλάζει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ειδοποιούνται οι χρήστες για την ασφάλεια των ιστοσελίδων που χρησιμοποιούν το πρωτόκολλο HTTP.

From this edition, will report all web pages still using HTTP as Not Secure. THE will appear in the address bar.

Prior to this release, Google's Chrome only displayed pages as unsafe when they used HTTP and asked the user to provide sensitive , such as passwords, or credit card details for example.

This particular change is just part of a broader plan by Google to make the web more secure. The next major version of the program Chrome, (the version 69), as we had mentioned in previous publication will remove HTTPS, which means that when you open a page with the secure HTTPS protocol, you will not see the green padlock.
