Google announced a new version of Chrome OS called Chrome OS Flex. New operating system it is designed to run on old Windows PCs and Macs.
The operating system can be installed "in minutes", according to a post on Google's blog.
Google says Chrome OS Flex will look and feel the same as Chrome OS on a Chromebook, since it's built off the same foundation code and will follow the same "circulation rate".
However, it warns that some features may depend on the hardware of the computer you are using.

However, you can boot directly from a USB if you prefer to check it shortly before installing it on your computer.
