If you are one of the unlucky ones who downloaded the malicious application Coronavirus Tracker on your Android device, there is good news: You can unlock it phone you without paying a Bitcoin ransom.
Investigators from security company ESET noticed that hackers encrypted the ransomware key. So after a bit of searching in the code, the researchers were able to discover the key. So to remove the malicious application, just enter the number: 4865083501.
It remains unclear how they became infected users by the malicious application Coronavirus Tracker, but the company DomainTool, which first uncovered it, says that particular campaign does not appear to have spread widely. Anyway, the above number will be very useful to some.
