A 40-year-old national has been arrested by the Greek Police for the Prosecution of Electronic Crime of the Greek Police for violation of personal data laws.
He was arrested yesterday (29-07-2014) by the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office 40 for a long time, for violating legislation protecting the individual from the processing of personal data.
More specifically, in the previous period, a national complained to the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office that on Internet sites of erotic content, there were publications with video material relating to her personal moments.
From methodical online research that followed, identified the electronic traces of the material in question as well as the details of the person who had published it on the Internet.
A team of police officers conducted a search, in the presence of a Judicial Officer, at the home of the 40-year-old in region of Athens where they were found and seized:

(1) storage medium USB stick

(2) optical discs

(8) sim mobile phone cards

(2) packages with mobile phone and cellular card details

(1) camera.
However, the 40-old Greek citizen was identified and arrested in an area of Arcadia, while the search made at the place of residence was found and confiscated:

(1) desktop electronic computer,

(2) cell phones,
-
(1) card sim,
-
(1) external hard drive and
-
(10) digital discs.
From the specialized research that followed in the above digital media, a large number of the video material of the sufferer was stored, which had been posted on dozens of internet sites.
The seized digital testimonies will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division for further screening.
The person arrested with the case file with his charge was formed today at the Prosecutor's Office of Athens.
