The application of the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate CYBERKID was awarded at the Mobility Forum & Apps Awards 2015 with the Gold Award in the category "Best application in terms of social and economic development"
Cyberkid has distinguished itself in the field of "smart applications" of mobile telephony, contributing to the information and awareness of children aged up to 12 years, as well as their parents, about better safety on Internet.
The mobile application (application) CYBERKID of the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate of the Hellenic Police was awarded at the Mobility Forum & Apps Awards 2015 with the Gold Award in the category "Best application in terms of social and economic development" (Best Social and Economic Development App).
The prize was received at the Divani Caravel Hotel in the afternoon 2 2015 Thursday, at the Divani Caravel Hotel, in the afternoon of the award ceremony of Major General Emmanuel Sfakianakis.
The Mobility Forum & Apps Awards 2015 is the largest biorganization awarding of awards concerning applications (applications) in Greece. The main message of the awards is to motivate and reward talented creators and innovative companies and organizations in the modern technological era, while it is not a condition that the applications are already known to the consumer public, but that they are innovative and have the elements that make them they give perspective of distinction and duration to the Greek market.
The Ministry of Citizen Protection and the Hellenic Police Headquarters, through the Cybercrime Division, participated in the CYBERKID application, which was distinguished between applications of large banks in Greece, leading insurance companies, telecommunication and network organizations and recognized private companies that excel in commerce, tourism, communications security, and online entertainment and education in Greece.
The CYBERKID application was honored with the "Best Implementation in Social and Economic Development" category, where applications that contribute to social and economic development are awarded, offering solutions for e-health, emergencies and situations requiring humanitarian assistance, as well as in the areas of access to goods and services.
To application CYBERKID για έξυπνα τηλέφωνα ( smart phones ), με λειτουργικό σύστημα iOS – android , δημιουργήθηκε από τη Διεύθυνση Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος με σκοπό την ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση παιδιών ηλικίας μέχρι 12 ετών, καθώς και των γονέων τους σχετικά με την ασφάλεια στο διαnetwork. The aim of the application is to highlight the positive aspects of the internet, but at the same time to provide information on how to deal with the challenges of the digital world, as well as adapting to the new data.
The parents μπορούν να επισκεφτούν το CYBERKID μαζί με τα παιδιά τους, για να διασκεδάσουν και να ενημερωθούν για το πώς μπορούν να πλοηγηθούν με ασφάλεια. Επιπλέον η εφαρμογή δίνει τη δυνατότητα στους χρήστες να επικοινωνούν άμεσα και σε πραγματικό χρόνο (real time) σε περίπτωση κινδύνου ή απειλής με Αξιωματικούς της Διεύθυνσης Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος μέσω της χρήσης μίας καινοτόμου (touchscreen call) διαδικασίας «Cyber Alert», αλλά και μέσω αποστολής ηλεκτρονικού μηνύματος. Οι Αξιωματικοί διαχειρίζονται τον κίνδυνο ή την απειλή, η οποία προέρχεται μέσω διαδικτύου με σύγχρονες διαδικασίες και μέσα από ένα Σύγχρονο Κέντρο Διαχείρισης Διαδικτυακών Απειλών ( Cyber Alert ), που έχει έδρα στη Διεύθυνση Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος.
