The Debian Project ανακοίνωσε σήμερα τη διαθεσιμότητα της όγδοης έκδοσης του λειτουργικού συστήματος Debian GNU / Linux 9 "Stretch".
Just a month after release of Debian GNU / Linux version 9.7, Debian has released version 9.8 which contains over 180 updates security and bug fixes.
According to the Debian Project "Αυτή η ενημέρωση προσθέτει κυρίως διορθώσεις για issues security, along with some tweaks on serious issues. It is not a new version of Debian 9 but only updates some of the included packages. There is no reason to throw away the old stretch. As mentioned earlier, version 9.8 is packed with updates. It consists of 90 updates that add significant fixes to various packages, as well as 96 security updates. In total, there are 186 updates included in Debian GNU / Linux 9.8, which also remove 23 redundant packages.
Το Debian GNU / Linux 9.8 "Stretch" είναι πλέον διαθέσιμο. Οι χρήστες δεν χρειάζεται να κάνουν λήψη των νέων εικόνων ISO για να ενημερώσουν το λειτουργικό τους.
