Have you ever dreamed of being an astronaut on a Mars exploration? In all probability your dream is not going to come true, but one cooperation NASA with Microsoft is coming to set things right: Destination: Mars
The virtual and mixed reality ptoject will begin this summer and will offer everyone the opportunity to discover and explore the Red Planet using Microsoft's HoloLens at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The experience was created using mapping data and images from NASA's Curiosity rover, which has been "flying" on Mars since 2012.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to explore the different areas that NASA has studied on Mars, with a guided VR tour led by a hologram of Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who was one of the first people to walked to surface of the moon.
The software allows NASA researchers to determine areas on Mars who want to drive the rover and distinguish geological formations on the surface.
