Devuan 2.0 ASCII beta fork Debian Stretch: just released

Devuan 2.0 ASCII: Devuan GNU + Linux is a Debian fork that runs SysV init software instead of systemd.

The Devuan development team has announced the availability of a new beta release with the ASCII code name:

"The long-awaited release of Devuan 2.0 ASCII beta (build 3568) is here. Eudev has now replaced systemd-udev, eloogind has been added as an alternative to ConsoleKit. Users can choose between fully functional Xfce (default), KDE, Cinnamon, LXQt, MATE and LXDE. The ARM board cores have been updated to 4.14 and 4.15 for most boards. ”

The new beta version of Devuan (by Debian Stretch) is available in many editions: net-install, live discs and full DVD installation.

There are also images (ISO) for computers with ARM and a separate one set of notes for the use of ARM ISO.
