Chrome 49: Google released its version 49 Chrome browser, which defines 26 topics better safetys. Of these 26 bugs, 11 are classified as security gaps high severity, 10 moderate severity, one low severity, while two errors were not ranked at all. As you can see, there are no critical bugs at all, which is the highest level of risk in Chrome's internal security bug ranking system.
Google revealed that it offered a $36.500 reward for the discovery of 13 bugs reported by independent security researchers. She also offered another $14.500 in rewards to researchers who helped her company to fix errors from the channels of the non-stable (stable) version.
Some of the issues corrected in Chrome 49 are two bypasses of the same or same-bypasses (in the Chrome Blink engine and in the Pepper Plugin), three use-after-free bugs in Blink, and more.
As for the improvements of the new version, Google Chrome 49 brings smooth mouse scrolling to all major desktop operating systems. Also, browser users can turn on a data-saving feature that tells websites before connecting, to load a lighter version, if any.
