VirusTotal reports that Droidy is an improvement to the original sandbox for Android, which was first developed by 2013, one year after Google purchased the service.
The new Sandbox Droidy will be able to provide additional information about malware activities in:
Communication networks and activities related to SMS
Java reflection calls
File System Interactions
Using the SQLite database
When they start and when services stop
Rights
Registered receivers
Cryptocurrency activities
To use Droidy sandbox, you need to look it on the Behavior tab of the VirusTotal page and select it from a drop-down list in the menu. At the moment, there are three available options for analyzing malware in Android: VirusTotal Sandbox, VirusTotal Droidy and Tencent HABO.
