Why DupeKill: If your hard drive has limited storage space, there are a few things you can do. You can run the tool “Disk clean up” of Windows, delete the program data browsing or use any other third-party programs.
DupeKill is one free software that can scan your computer and discover all duplicate files on your disk.

The DupeKill UI is quite easy and simple. At the top you will see a "Look In". Click the 3 boxes next to it to search for a folder or drive for duplicate files. Select the "Include subfolders" option, if needed, and press the "Scan" button to perform the first scan.
The program it will scan the selected folder and check the files it discovers for duplicates. The scan status is displayed in a small window below the “Look In” bar. The DupeKill application checks file names and if it finds files with the same name it considers them duplicates. For example, the files “Copy of screenshot”, and “document1.txt”, are considered duplicates, while the files “Screenshot”, and “Document.txt” sees them as the original files.
When the scan is complete, the results are displayed in the large center area of the screen. You can check them file properties, such as size, name and path, creation date, modification date, for each duplicate archive discovered by the application.
If you right-click on a result you will see a list of options that allow you to run the file, open the folder that contains it, copy the path or all the information. You will also see the options Keep, Delete, Link, Move.
The total number of files to be deleted and their size are listed on the results window. Make sure you have selected the files correctly and click the button to delete the duplicate files.
The application is very fast, and quite accurate.
Warning: There is always the possibility that a file is incorrectly labeled as a duplicate. Take the time to check the results before proceeding to delete.
