Your next phone may not have the logos on the back since the President of the USA Barack Obama officially signed the legislative act today E-Label.
The E-Label act means that most of the logos on the back of your phone will be able to be displayed using an embedded software rather than being printed on the device itself. This means that futures smartphones, like the 2016 iPhone, may not have a company logo on the back.
In accordance with TNW the E-Label Bill was adopted unanimously and passed to the Senate without any further issue.
The law will rid owners of unnecessary trademarks and, according to Bob Latta, the bill's creator, will save a lot of money for manufacturers.
