The upcoming SXSW Interactive Festival It should be very interesting and this is why the Edward Snowden, will speak at the event on Monday, March 10, 2014.
Of course, since the event will be held in Austin, Texas, Snowden will not be attending for obvious reasons, but will attend the event and speak via teleconferences.
Snowden will discuss the impact of NSA's spy actions on Christopher Soghoian, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). It will focus on the impact of the NSA's surveillance programs on the technology community and the potential technological countermeasures that could be used to protection of the world from mass espionage.
The meeting will be moderated by ACLU Privacy & Technology Project Director Ben Wizner and Snowden Legal Advisor. It is worth noting that members of the public will be able to ask questions.
