Elias Hantzos of Symantec among Young Global Leaders

Symantec ilias hatzosThe World Economic Forum recently announced the list of new members selected for the Young Global Forum . Among the 214 charismatic young personalities who have been recognized for their achievements and their contribution to society is Mr. Elias Hantzos, Symantec Senior Director of Government Relations, Critical Infrastructure Protection and Personal Data Protection Advisor for the of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

With his responsibilities in Symantec, Mr. Chantzos represents the company to government agencies, national authorities and international organizations, providing advice to δημόσιας πολιτικής, με έμφαση στην ΙΤ ασφάλεια και στη διαχείριση κινδύνου και διαθεσιμότητα δεδομένων. Πριν από αυτή τη θέση στη Symantec, ο κ. Χάντζος ήταν υπεύθυνος για τα Προγράμματα Κυβερνητικών Υποθέσεων της εταιρίας για τη ΝΑ Ευρώπη, την περιοχή Ασίας-Ειρηνικού και την Ιαπωνία ( APJ).

Ms Cheri McGuire, Symantec Global Governance Vice President, said after Mr Hantzos's election: "Elijah belongs to the Symantec family in the last 10 years and I am very happy about his election, proving his skills and his achievements both in the workplace and in society ".

The 2014 list of Young Global Leaders was formed by an initial number of 2.000 candidates evaluated by Heidrick & Struggles and were examined by a selection committee chaired by AM Queen Rani al-Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Candidates were assessed on the basis of specific criteria, including their past performance and commitment to the community.
