A newspaper article Financial Times reports that Facebook will create a new service called “Facebook at Work”And will aim to“ hit ”the corporate social networking space.
According to the post, Facebook at Work will be similar to the main service, with news feeds and groups, but will allow users to keep except from a separate profile work, and a personal profile.
Facebook has reportedly been developing the new network for at least a year and has already begun trials with outside companies as its public release is approaching.
Popular networks such as Slack and Yammer are used in many businesses for internal social networking. So Facebook decided to enter the site.
Interestingly, Facebook is starting to move into the social networking business, despite the fact that many employers are actively discouraging their employees from using social networking during business hours.
Facebook today has more than 1,3 billion active users each month, and is likely to look for additional resources for users, of course, aiming to increase revenue. The business add-on project could guarantee not only growth with more users but also additional revenue.
