Facebook introduces the new tools one-click to help people in Afghanistan lock down their account privacy settings.
The announcement was made on Twitter by the head of policy security of Facebook's Nathaniel Gleicher, who said the new tool one-click will enable privacy settings for timeline posts and prevent profile photos from being downloaded or shared.
This feature will encourage them users to "restrict what strangers can see". The tool won't be available on Instagram, but the photo-sharing app will bring “pop-ups alerts” which will explain the ways to lock these accounts as well.
Gleicher added that the company is also temporarily hiding lists of friends' accounts in the country and encouraged people with Facebook friends living in Afghanistan to change their privacy settings for their friends list.
