Facebook has begun yesterday to make the redesigned Notes pages a feature that allows users to share small texts with their friends outside Facebook Timeline.
The feature Notes was first released on 22 August 2006 and was originally advertised as a blogging system, although it was never.
As time went on, Facebook began to support tags, and embedded images, as well as the ability to import blog content from sites like LiveJournal, Blogger, Xanga, and a few other platforms.
Nevertheless, Facebook Notes failed miserably, not only to become popular, but also because despite its efforts, it never looked like a blog.
Yesterday Facebook announced that it has improved the Notes even further. The new look allows users to add a huge banner photo to the header, format text with headers, place quotation marks, and more.
Furthermore, the procedure image embedding has been enhanced with the ability tocaseς λεζάντας, αλλά και αλλαγής μεγέθους της pictures to better match the content.
Let's say the result, although it does not look like a blog, is far from the appearance of the feature in the past.
The renewed Facebook Notes clearly shows the vision of the company. Its expansive policy seems to be sweetening WordPress' glory and clientele, but as you'll see for yourself, it still needs a lot work.
The new feature has not yet appeared in Greece, but if you want to see how it looks like you can do from here.
