The International Space Station (ISS) is one of the most popular objects for the keen amateur astronomers. Along with observing the stars and planets you can also observe the movement of the ISS when of course it passes over you.
To locate it from Earth NASA has a web tool called Spot The Station which allows you to easily find when it is expected to pass through the sky above you. The tool asks for your current location and gives you a timeline of when the ISS will be visible in the coming days.
You can visit it NASA website and click the "Location Lookup" button. From there state the country and city where you live and press the NEXT key.
You will be given a timeline of when the station becomes visible, how long it will remain visible, and at what direction and angle it will appear and disappear. You can share the schedule on Facebook and Twitter, subscribe to receive notifications when the station becomes visible on region and notify via RSS feed.
If you scroll down to σελίδα, you'll also see when the Cygnus shuttle will be visible in your area. It is currently en route to the ISS for resupply and should dock on December 9, 2015. If the station is visible in your area during date and docking time of the space shuttle then you will have the opportunity for a very good astronomical observation.
