Flowblade is a free, open source software for Linux operating systems that will help you make your videos.

The project was started by developer Janne Liljeblad in 2009 and has been active ever since. On December 27, 2023 it reached version 2.12.0.2. The source code it is currently hosted on GitHub.
This software uses G'mic which is an open source image filtering technology.
Like all good video editing programs, it has a multitrack timeline where users can put multiple video clips and audios in there to make a final video by combining them all. There are rich editing features such as trim, insert, cut, keyframe and more.
As for the final video timeline, it allows you to insert, interpolate, replace, move, speed up, slow down video clips. There are a bunch of other features like audio sync on the timeline, audio mixer, 50+ image filters, 30+ audio filters, G'Mic effects and more.
FlowBlade is written in Python with a pinch of other languages like HTML, JavaScript CSS. It is an amazingly lightweight application, which is not common among video editing applications. The installation process of this open source video editor is available on GitHub.
