A new rather tempting scam is circulating at Facebook "κερδίσετε ένα Ford Mustang 2013".
The message was posted on its pages Facebook who claim to be from Ford and states:
"Για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία του Facebook we give one Ford Mustang to one lucky winner that we will select on October 21st by lottery. Would you like to join this amazing giveaway και να κερδίσετε ένα καινούργιο Mustang; Απλά ακολουθήστε τα παρακάτω βήματα για να συμμετάσχετε στο διαγωνισμό."
Τα πιθανά θύματα θα πρέπει να κάνουν "like" στην ιστοσελίδα, να την δημοσιεύσουν στον "τοίχο" τους και να αφήσουν ένα σχόλιο που θα αναφέρει το Colour of their liking.
As he says Hoax Slayer, The contest είναι ψεύτικος. Κανείς δεν θα κερδίσει το Ford Mustang. Οι απατεώνες από την άλλη πλευρά συλλέγουν "likes" τα οποία μπορούν να πουλήσουν στην μαύρη αγορά για να χρησιμοποιηθούν για διαφημιστικούς σκοπούς (Like Farming).
Its official website Ford Mustang on Facebook has 5,5 million members and of course does not mention any Giveaway.
Currently, there are several 2013 Ford Mustang pages on Facebook to promote the fake contest. Some of them already gathered over 10.000 likes.
