Google's Android does not stop "magnetizing" all kinds of malicious applications, due to the fact that it is a very popular platform.
The company has managed to stop a new malware campaign aimed at the Android platform and running at least since early June at 2019.
The findings, published by the CSIS Security Group, reveal that a malware, που ονομάζεται Joker, σχεδιάστηκε για να πραγματοποιεί κρυφές εγγραφές των χρηστών του Android σε συνδρομητικές υπηρεσιών υψηλού κόστους except from stealing the victim's SMS messages, contact list and device information.
In total, CSIS found 24 Android apps on Google Play (listed below) that contained a trojan. The apps had been downloaded over 472.000 times by unsuspecting people users, before Google managed to delete them from the Play Store.
Joker malware has hit 37 countries, including Australia, China, Germany, India, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Spark Wallpaper
If you have any of the above apps installed from the Google Play Store, delete them immediately from your system. After removing the malicious application, it is advisable to scan your device with trusted security software.
