We live in a digitally connected world, so it was only natural that cars be added and become a part of this experience. The new Android Auto will sync all Android devices with compatible vehicles. You just need to connect your Android device to the vehicle and the compatible infotainment system will take care of the rest. The connected Android device will become the of the system and will provide the ability to type, to listen , to use the application , and a lot more.

The Google Maps app with Android Auto will be more powerful than its audio counterpart thanks to an enhanced interactive voice experience. This will allow the to use Google Maps without taking their hands off the wheel or eyes off the road. To make driving safer, Android Auto will read incoming texts aloud and give the driver the option to use voice commands to respond.

Google will soon release Android Auto SDK to developers so they can create applications for use in vehicles. The platform is already supported by a few developers, Spotify, TuneIn, Pandora and others.
Already have signed over 40 partners and 25 car makers, so Android Auto seems to have enough support from many in the car industry. Although Google did not announce on which vehicles we will see first, it said some vehicles would have the software from the end of this year.
