It's hard to believe, but Rubik's cube is now officially 40 years old. The game was born in Hungary by 1974 by the inventor and architect Ernő Rubik, and it came out except border in May 1980.
The Hungarian architect Ernő Rubik he wanted to create a model to explain three-dimensional geometry. This is how he created the first cube, carving the cubes that make it up by hand. It took him a month to manage to build the Cube by bringing all the Colourthem on the right side.
Later in 1980 Ideal Toy Corp acquired the rights, and since then it has sold over 350.000 units, making the cube the best-selling toy of all time, and a retro favorite for anyone who was young in the 80s.
