Thanks to Google Maps, hundreds of tourists visited a small, idyllic town in Νορβηγία. Where is the problem; The travelers did not want to visit this particular city which they found 19 miles away from where it should have been.
The tourists were looking for the Preikestolen cliffs, a geological formation in western Norway. When they tried to find a route, a damage on Google Maps sent them to the wrong side of the fjord.
So they started to flood the small town, which the locals could not explain.
The city's inhabitants could not explain the phenomenon, but at the same time enjoyed the turmoil of the tourists. The Norwegian newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad reports:
"They say they want Preikestolen and they don't understand anything. Google Maps takes them to bridge Lysefjord και στο Fossmork. Σκέφτηκε ότι ο space he was fantastic."
