Google Safe Browsing, or Google Safe Browsing, seems to be getting tougher on repeat offenders.
The specific service Google discovers and protects against sites that put end users at risk by banning it access σε αυτά. Έτσι τα ύποπτα sites για εξαπάτηση χρηστών, μέσω malware, ανεπιθύμητο λογισμικό, phishing ή άλλες τακτικές social engineering, are blocked by the service.
"Over time, we have noticed that a small number of websites that stop harming users for quite some time manage to remove Google Safe Browsing alerts. Then they come back with harmful activities, "said Brooke Heinichen of the Safe Browsing Team.
So starting today, once Safe Browsing judges a website to be a "defender", the webmaster of the page will have to wait at least 30 days to be able to request a review from Search Sideboard.
Heinichen also assured that webmasters who have stated that their site is hacked, and tend to do it repeatedly will not be taken seriously.
So this move is in a way a gentle push for webmasters to take the security of their web pages more seriously.
