The Electronic Crime Prosecution Division filed a case against a 23-year-old man for child pornography through Internet
The Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate of the Hellenic Police has filed a case against a 23-year-old man from Jordan, for child pornography.
In particular, the investigation of the case began after a complaint by a 38-year-old citizen, mother of a minor, to the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, according to which an unknown person had contacted her minor daughter through the websiteσελίδαof social networking "Facebook", while he sent her obscene photos of him, urging her to do the same.
In addition, according to the complainants, at a meeting between them, this person attempted to scam at the expense of the minor.
In the context of lifting the confidentiality of communications, following a will issued by the competent prosecuting authorities, the electronic traces of the 23-year-old were identified, namely that he is the administrator of the disputed profile on "Facebook" and the owner of a telephone connections who had come into contact with the minor.
