This means that HoloLens is now available in 39 markets, after initially being available in only 10 countries. We should mention that the product intended for developers and businesses only.
The official announcement of Microsoft he says:
In addition to describing our vision for a mixed reality in the modern workplace, we also announce that HoloLens is coming to 29 new markets in Europe.
Microsoft expects mixed reality to change the way we work in the near future. They expect that information workers will greatly benefit from HoloLens enabling them to combine the physics and their digital reality.
HoloLens is expected to receive a new update early next year, with improvements based on comments from existing users of the new technology.
We are also trying to bring some improvements to the software of HoloLens that have been requested from us by our existing customers. We are committed to offering an update to our existing customers early next year.
Note that HoloLens remains available exclusively for developers and businesses. The commercial suite and development version of HoloLens can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
