Unbelievable and yet true. NASA's Ingenuity helicopter, located on Mars, needs a software update before the flight test!
We've heard it all, but sending a machine to an alien planet and having a good morning needs an upgrade, we think, goes beyond Windows. The team behind it NASA's Ingenuity helicopter, appears to be experiencing a "command sequence issue" with flight control software.
After examining them data in a previous test on Earth, the NASA team created a flight plan to prepare it to fly its helicopter to Mars. While the flight test schedule was set, the team modifies and reinstalls its flight control software copter to deal with a “sequencing issue”!!.
On the other hand, all of us have more or less made a mistake in a software installation or two in our lives, why not NASA? Logically, the team will test the new software here on EARTH first, then wirelessly upload it over 225 million miles away. kilometers, in the first vehicle to attempt powered flight to another planet. We hope to set a date for more tests next week.
