Some use the words "Internet" and "Website”Indiscriminately, as if it were a concept. This use of these terms is technically incorrect.
The Internet and the World Wide Web describe a relationship between the "whole" and a "part" of the whole. The Internet is the big container, and the Web is a part of that container. It is common in everyday conversation to use shortcuts such as "Net" and "Web" referring to the same thing. But to be technically accurate, the Net is the restaurant, and the World Wide Web is the most popular dish on the menu.
1: The Internet is a large collection of computers and cables.
The Internet is the name that describes the diaconnection των δικτύων υπολογιστών. As PCs became more mainstream in the 1980 and 1990 decades, the internet grew up with more users who connected their computers to the huge network. Today, the Internet has evolved into a public net that includes millions of personal, government, and corporate computers connected to each other by cables and wireless signals.
In theory at least nobody is the owner of the internet. Speaking theoretically, there is no government that has its absolute power. The Internet was born as a free and open means of communication and data transmission.
2: The World Wide Web is a large collection of HTML pages on the Internet.
The World Wide Web, or "Web" for short, is a huge collection of digital pages. A large subset of Internet software is dedicated to broadcast content, in the form of pages HTML. The site is viewed using free software called web browser. Born in 1989, the World Wide Web or “Web” has been built using as a basis the protocol transportof hypertext (hypertext transfer protocol), a language which allows all of us to go via hyperlinks to any public web page. Today there are approximately 70 billion public web pages on the Web.
