There is no end to the imagination of scammers who send malicious emails. They have started shipping messages who call on the victims to report to the Athens Police Department.
A new activity has appeared in the field of fraudulent emails where fraudsters pretend to be the Greek Police Directorate of Athens and call their victims to appear at the police headquarters for their case, otherwise they risk imprisonment.
Of course, in order for the victims to see details and where exactly they should be presented, they will have to open the attached file in the email, and there is the lens. The attached file contains malware software.

Information about a new forgery - a fraudulent e-mail circulated as a so-called letter from the Greek Police
A new obviously forged - fraudulent message, circulating as a letter from the Hellenic Police, has been detected through e-mail messages (e-mail s), by perpetrators who are obviously trying to deceive - mislead the citizens.
Citizens are asked to delete this message and "do not open" the attachments archives to avoid malware.
The case is being investigated by the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate of the Greek Police.
