The Document Foundation has astonished users of iOS devices today by announcing the LibreOffice Remote application for LibreOffice's Impress. The application looks like Apple's retired Keynote Remote.
One of the hottest office suites in LibreOffice has just been released in 4.2.0 (stable) and offers a fairly new characteristics and improvements for Mac and PC users.
LibreOffice Remote, which is similar to Apple Keynote or Microsoft PowerPoint - allows users to display slide shows.
The team explains that “The app lets you use your smartphone to remotely manage the LibreOffice Impress presentation tool while it runs on your laptop, displaying a thumbnail of its slides on the screen. Allows you to navigate front and back by swiping right and left with your finger. In addition, you can also view the presenter's notes. ”
