Upgrade to Linux Kernel 4.3 on Ubuntu, Debian and Mint

Arne Exton developed a new kernel for 64-bit Ubuntu and Debian operating systems. New -64bit-4.3.0-4-exton, can run without problems on all types of modern Ubuntu systems, and Linux Mint 17.3 (Rosa).

It can be used without any problem even in Debian GNU / Linux 8.1 (Jessie).new-kernel

Below we describe how to install 4.3 Linux kernel on Ubuntu, Debian and Linux Mint

No matter what Ubuntu or Debian distribution you are currently using. All distributions, with the exception of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus), which is still in progress and already running the latest version of Linux 4.3 Kernel, can be upgraded.

Just make sure your system is 64-bit.

Download it ubuntu-kernel-64bit-4.3.0-4-exton and save the zip file to your system Home.home

Unzip its contents, and open it in the home folder, in our case the home/giorgos folder.

Immediately run the following commands one by one.

sudo dpkg -i * .deb sudo update-grub

terminal

You should wait for the Linux kernel to upgrade to version 4.3. When the installation, restart your computer.

So your operating system from today will run the latest version of the Linux Kernel. The good news is that the new kernel will allow you to install the latest videos as well by Nvidia.
