Linux Lite 4.8: welcomes Windows 7 users

Jerry Bezencon has announced the release of Linux Lite 4.8, a new stable version of his beginner-friendly distribution Lite based on Ubuntu 18.04 and using the Xfce desktop:

Linux Lite

Linux Lite can make the transition to a Linux-based operating system easy by offering a full office suite compatible with the Microsoft suite, and well-known software such as Firefox, Chrome, Teamviewer, VLC, and full backup system tools, but also a complete and easy-to-use help manual to guide you on your journey. It has Steam pre-installed so you can continue playing Windows games.

Our desktop is designed just like Windows with one ς στα αριστερά, ενώ δεξιά θα βρείτε τις επιλογές έντασης, network και επιλογές calendar, με γνωστά εικονίδια επιφάνειας εργασίας που σας μεταφέρουν ακριβώς εκεί που θέλετε να πάτε στο σύστημά σας."
